Single Origin Black Tea

Assam TGFOP-S

Lapsang Souchong

Assam TGFOP-S

TGFOP-S stands for tippy golden flowering orange pekoe - superior grade. Ours is a single-origin whole-leaf black tea from Assam in India. A classic Assam - robust, malty and full of flavour.

Darjeeling

Lapsang Souchong

Assam TGFOP-S

A lightly-oxidised black tea picked from the second flush of leaves. Sourced from Darjeeling in the Eastern Himalayas. Darjeeling can be a tricky tea. The first flush of leaves is a bit green. The third and fourth flush (after the monsoon) ends up in tea bags. The second flush is in the Goldilocks zone.

Lapsang Souchong

Lapsang Souchong

Lapsang Souchong

A long-leaf black tea from China, smoked over pine woodchips. To some, it’s the pinnacle of the tea experience. To others, it smells like burning car tyres. We suggest asking for a free tasting before handing over your cash.

Yunnan

Yunnan Golden Tips

Lapsang Souchong

A long-leaf black tea with golden threads throughout – rich in flavour without bitterness. One of China’s most highly prized teas. We don’t play favourites, but this is a tea we could drink all day, every day, forever.

Yunnan Golden Tips

A mixture of golden buds and black leaves, this rare Chinese tea has a heady aroma, and hints of maple sweetness. We serve this in small tasting cups so you can make the most of the subtle, but sensational flavours.
